The CommBank Matildas will return to GIO Stadium Canberra on Saturday 28 November 2026, taking on Colombia in the opening match of a two-game international series. Kicking off at 7:35pm, the match will be only the second meeting between the two nations, following Colombia’s 2-1 victory at the 2025 SheBelieves Cup. Colombia reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 and features a talented squad including global star Linda Caicedo.
The international clash provides both teams with an important test as preparations build towards the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil. For the CommBank Matildas, the match offers another opportunity to play in front of Canberra fans while facing a strong South American opponent and a different style of football.
Tickets are available through Ticketek, with the FA+ Members presale commencing at 12pm AEST Monday 31 August, followed by the Football Australia account holders presale at 12pm AEST Thursday 3 September. General public tickets go on sale at 4pm AEST Thursday 3 September.
*Goalkeeper Chloe Lincoln, who plays for Brisbane Roar, will be hoping to earn selection for the CommBank Matildas’ clash with Colombia at GIO Stadium Canberra.
