Play will commence with a staggered start and continue throughout the evening. Players must register for a tee time which are subject to availability.
Four players are allocated to each group – scoring will be on a individual basis. Players must arrive and register attendance no later than 30 minutes before their allocated tee time. With 9 holes to play, there is 36 players maximum on the course at any time.
Players are not permitted to bring their own clubs or balls. Golfers will play with equipment provided by GIO Stadium.
An automated shot clock will keep play on track and keep your group moving between holes. You will have one minute per player, per hole to play 5 shots and four minutes to move between holes. Approximately 86 minutes will be allocated per round.
Your caddie will keep individual scores on the team scorecard as you play each hole. Only your best shot will count (1 score per hole plus the long putt). At the end of the round, scores will be added up and displayed in the Sports Bar screen.

GIO Stadium Golf course is made up of 9 holes – 8 stadium golf holes plus one 10ft putt.
Players will tee off from ten platforms (‘tee boxes’) purpose-built for the event at each tee location. Green target areas are located on the field (players will not enter on to the field surface). One putting hole is located near the players’ change rooms for a great photo opportunity. The ten stadium hole lengths vary from 77m – 110m and tee elevation varies from the forecourt level to level 5 of the stands.
CADDIES
Each group will be allocated a caddie, your caddie will escort you to your starting tee and guide you around the stadium. They will provide advice on each hole and stadium insights as you walk between each tee box. All players are required to follow the direction and instruction of caddies at all times.
The golden ticket prize is available to the first person to hit a hole-in-one on the 7th hole during the open public times of the 2024 event.
