The following will give you helpful information on policies and amenities offered to make your visits with us memorable and enjoyable.
Accessible car parking is available on a first-in basis on event days. The dedicated disabled parking area is located near the entrances to the East and West carparks. Individuals parking within the accessible area must have a valid disability parking permit on display.
Baby change table are in the unisex accessible toilets located in the East concourse Inner Bowl and West concourse Inner Bowl and also on the ground floor of the Meninga Grandstand.
There are passenger lifts to transport guests to all levels of the Meninga and Gregan-Larkham Grandstands as well as ramps.
All men and women toilets in the Meninga Grandstand and Gregan-Larkham Grandstand have accessible toilets. There are also accessible toilets located throughout the venue. All Accessible toilets in the venue are unisex.
Water Stations are located throughout the arena and are wheelchair height accessible.
Our alcohol-free area is in Bay 6 of the Meninga Grandstand. See yellow area on the map.
First aid stations can be found in the East and West concourses.
A parent/carer may nurse a child in any public location where they are comfortable and authorised to be.
Parents/carers are permitted to use the first aid rooms located on the East and West concourses. If further privacy is required, please approach a customer service staff member for assistance who may direct you to an alternative location. Feeding parents/carers may utilise the dedicated space in both the East and West Lounges. It should be noted that dedicated lounge areas may not be exclusive, and at times, may also be hosting private functions depending on the event.
Breast pumps are permitted inside GIO Stadium Canberra.
Hearing loops are available in Bay 56 in the Meninga Grandstand and Bay 71 in the Gregan-Larkham Grandstand. Signal strength is greatest in the top third of each Bay. A hearing loop is also available at the East and West Ticketing Boxes.
Service dogs are most welcome at GIO Stadium. If the handler is comfortable, the service dog able to sit underneath their seat. However, for more room the option to purchase a “Carer” seat and have the service dog be located next to this is also available.
Patrons with companion cards must present the companion card when purchasing a ticket and when entering the stadium.
Wheelchair and carer seating is available for all events at GIO Stadium, subject to availability. Call 1300 665 915 – Ticketek’s Accessible Seating booking line if you require special access, wheelchair or companion card seating. Monday to Friday 9am 5pm (AEST), or submit a request via the Accessible Seating booking form.
All levels of GIO Stadium Canberra including Corporate Lounges and Suites are accessible via the Lifts located in the Meninga and Gregan-Larkham Grandstands.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available at a number of locations on the Inner Bowl Concourse and also in the Gregan-Larkham Grandstand. In addition to the lift, accessible seating in the Gregan-Larkham grandstand can be accessed via the ramps either side of the stand.
To ensure appropriate allocation of a reserved disabled seating please ensure that you advise Ticketek when booking. If you require any further assistance on the day of an event, do not hesitate to contact a Customer Service or Security representative.
