What happens if it is raining? Will the show go ahead?

  • Until advised otherwise, the show will go ahead. If this changes, keep your eye on our social media channels for updates and please follow venue screens and staff instructions in this circumstance.

Can I smoke or vape in the Stadium?

  • Smoking and vaping is prohibited except in designated smoking areas.

Before you Arrive – Get Your Tickets Ready

  • Can’t find your tickets? If you have mobile tickets, you will need to download the Ticketek App to access your mobile tickets and/or add them to your digital wallet on your device before arriving and entering the venue.
  • Ensure your phone is fully charged with the brightness turned up for easy scanning on entry.

Pack light:

  • If possible, please leave bags at home and all non-essential items. Any bags will be searched on entry to the venue.
  • The existing conditions of entry to GIO Stadium Canberra will apply. In addition, the following items are NOT PERMITTED for this event:
    – Recording equipment (sound and/or video)
    – Professional nor semi professional cameras still or digital
    – Laser pens or laser pointers
    – Go Pro cameras, iPads or Tablets
    – Selfie Sticks

Getting to the Stadium

Follow GIO Stadium on X (Twitter) and Facebook on game day for parking and transport updates.

Driving

Parking is available for all patrons at a cost of $10 on both the West and East side of the Stadium. Get in early as the carpark is likely to fill up quickly.

East Car Park
– For tickets in bays 16-21 and 56-59
– For on field bays P9-P12 and G2- G4

West Car Park
– For tickets in bays: 4-15, 50-55
– For on field bays P1 – P8 and G1 & G3

Accessibility Parking
Accessible parking is available on the West side of the venue only. Disability permits must be displayed.

Accessible parking at GIO Stadium

  • Some general road closures and managed access arrangements will apply in the GIO Stadium Canberra precinct on the day.
  • Parking officers will be active in the precinct during the event and drivers are reminded to park legally and safely. Please be mindful and respectful of residents who live nearby.

Public Drop off and Pick Up Zone

  • The public drop off and pick up zone will be available on Leverrier Street- in front of the AIS Arena – on the West side of the venue. Please note you will not be able to pick up from the East Gate post event.

Taxi / Rideshare services

  • Taxi and Rideshare services are available from the western side of the venue, a short walk from the West gate. Please note you will not be able to pick up from the East gate post event.

Free Bus to the Concert!

  • Limited, free chartered services will run return trips from Belconnen, Gungahlin, the City, Woden and Tuggeranong Bus Interchanges to the East gate at GIO Stadium Canberra.

Location of stop in Civic

  • In addition to the chartered buses, regularly scheduled buses run to and from CIT Bruce on Haydon Drive (20 min walk from GIO Stadium Canberra’s West Gate). The last service concludes at 11:45pm. Fees apply. Check the Transport Canberra website for more details.

Arrival & Entering – Gates Open at 6pm

  • Arrive as early as possible and don’t delay your entry so you don’t get caught in queues.
  • Make sure you have your phone’s brightness turned up and dark mode turned off before you arrive at the gates for faster entry.

Security Procedures

  • Security will conduct bag checks at all entry points to the venue.
  • To reduce delays, please remove all items from your pockets and avoid bringing bags where possible.

  • Head straight to your allocated seat
  • Locate your seat on the Seating Map:

Finding your seat

  • On Field Bays – Patrons with seats in bays located on the field will have P1-P12 and G1-G4 indicated on their tickets.
  • Inner Bowl and North and South Terraces – Patrons with seats in bays located in the inner bowl and at the north and south terraces, will have Bays 4-5, 16-18 and 50-59 indicated on their tickets.
  • Grandstand – Patrons with seats in bays located in grandstands will have Bays 7-15 indicated on their tickets.
  • Corporate – Patrons with Corporate tickets will have their corporate area clearly allocated on their tickets.
  • Be sure to ask our event staff for assistance in finding your seat.

Food & Beverage

  • A range of food and beverage options are available for purchase throughout the Stadium, including options for dietary requirements and non-alcoholic options.
  • Additional food, beverage and toilet facilities are available for patrons outside the main bowl of the Stadium on the forecourt.
  • Water stations are available at the venue.

Merchandise

  • Merchandise will be available to purchase from outlets inside the Stadium

During the Concert

  • For the safety of all patrons, you are required to be seated in your allocated seat.
  • Please be aware the show will contain flashing lights and other lighting effects.
  • Please show respect to staff and other patrons when you visit.
  • If you notice any anti-social, discriminatory behaviour or other issues at the match, please text “Assist” to 0455 883 228 for assistance. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will likely result in exclusion from the venue.

End of Concert

Leaving the Stadium

  • At the end of the concert, please be patient and follow staff directions for smooth exiting of all patrons.
  • Rideshare services are available a short walk from the West Gate.
  • The Public pick-up point is located at the front of the AIS, a short walk from the West Gate.
  • Limited free bus services are available to major interchanges (Queanbeyan, Gungahlin, Belconnen, Tuggeranong Woden and Civic) from the East Gate only.
  • Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.
