Please note: The Temporary Conditions of Entry due to COVID-19 may supersede the usual entry condition below
Children are to be accompanied by an adult when entering GIO Stadium Canberra.
All patrons entering GIO Stadium Canberra and who require a seat, must have a ticket. However, each code has its own rules with regards to age limits and they are as follows:
- Super Rugby – Children under 5 years are entitled to enter the ground at no charge; however they must not occupy a seat.
- NRL – Children under 4 years may enter Raiders home games for free, but must be seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.
Prams and strollers are permitted into the venue, however must be positioned in a way which doesn’t block aisles, seating or egress.
There are Baby Change facilities on both the West and East Concourses. Whilst there is not a dedicated Feeding Room, the First Aid Rooms on both the West and East Concourses can be used for this. This map provides further information or download the map (PDF – 420Kb).
Concessions
Patrons purchasing a ticket at the concession rate are to provide the appropriate concession documentation at the ticketing booth or at the turnstile, when purchasing tickets in advance. If relevant concession documentation cannot be provided, a concession ticket will not be sold or allowed entry into GIO Stadium Canberra.
